With Professional Dancer Cruz Vazques Borges
Solo Salsa and Son Cubano | Saturdays from 31 October | Performing at Rumba Night, 19 December
Join Cruz Vazquez Borges and Luisa Perez Mujica for a performance course designed to help you develop your dancing and perform in a supportive and engaging environment.
Cruz is a professional Cuban dancer who designs beautiful and powerful performances. Over eight Saturday sessions you'll learn a choreography with the group, rehearse it together, and perform it at our Rumba Nights party on Saturday 19 December 2026.
Choose your option

Option 1, Solo Salsa: for individual dancers. Saturdays, 3:00 to 4:00 pm.

Option 2, Son Cubano (couples): danced in couples, no partner needed to sign up. Saturdays, 4:00 to 5:00 pm.

Option 3, Both courses: Solo Salsa and Son Cubano back to back. Saturdays, 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
Course details

Sessions: each course is 8 Saturday sessions, made up of 6 classes and 2 rehearsals

Classes: 31 October, 7, 14 and 21 November, 5 and 12 December

Halfway rehearsal: Saturday 28 November

Perfect for anyone who wants to focus on follower’s styling. Explore arm movements, body flow, spins, and musical expression to build confidence, elegance, and personal style in your salsa.
Workshop 3:
On2 Salsa Shines
21 June: Open to Everyone
Dive into the rhythm of On2 salsa with dynamic shines (solo footwork sequences). Open to all dancers, this workshop focuses on timing, coordination, and musicality, helping you connect more deeply with the music while building style and precision. No partner required.
