Dancing to music regularly helps you understand timing more, and dancing with more people helps you lead better. Instead of doing some set moves in class, you have to really listen to each other to dance socially.

Wear comfortable clothes, dance shoes (or dance socks over shoes) and bring some water. We encourage you to buy a drink at the venue to support them – without them, we wouldn’t have such great social dancing in Newcastle. During hotter months, bring a spare t-shirt – you can get very sweaty!
