Latin Dance Classes
Learn to Dance Salsa and Bachata in Newcastle
Our Latin dance classes are a fantastic introduction to dancing. Our small groups ensure everyone gets personalised help if they're struggling. Simply book your desired class below and come along to our Latin dance lessons. We hold classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays every week between 6:30 and 8:30pm.
Our classes are beginner-friendly and we hold social Latin dance events every week for you to put your new moves into practice with other students and dancers in Newcastle. Get involved with our thriving community and have a load of fun. Just bring comfortable shoes and a smile!
Cuban Salsa Classes
Our Cuban salsa lessons are split into beginner and immediate classes. You'll learn all the essentials to start dancing Cuban salsa.
You don't need any previous experience or a partner to learn Cuban salsa. Come along to a salsa lesson in Mayfield, Newcastle and feel the music!
The beginners class starts at 6:30pm on Tuesday and is followed by intermediate salsa at 7:30pm. Learn to dance salsa in Newcastle and experience the joy it brings in a wonderful Latin dance community.
Linear Salsa Classes
Take part in our exciting linear Salsa classes. We offer classes every Wednesday at 7:30pm in Mayfield, Newcastle.
Our instructors will take you from beginner to advanced dancers. Start dancing linear salsa in take part in our socials and other salsa events.
Bring some comfortable shoes (we don't recommend trainers because of the grip). It doesn't matter if you've never danced before, we dedicate time to each students' needs and you can progress in your own time.
Bachata Classes
We hold open level bachata classes at Dance on Newy. It's a sensual dance that looks great and is easy to learn (especially with our patient and experienced instructors).
You'll learn to dance bachata in a supportive environment. No partner or experience needed, just a desire to learn this Latin dance!
We hold bachata lessons on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Get started with a free bachata trial. We have socials with bachata every week in Newcastle so it will come in handy!
